On the web freeware

4 06 2007

Inkscape is an open-source freeware vector graphics editor. Inkscape runs on Linux, Windows 2000/2003/XP & Osx. And can be used for a verity of different projects such as web graphics, technical diagrams, icons, creative art, logos, maps. Inkscape is short of having all the features of major vector editors, but the latest versions provide for a large portion of basic vector graphics editing capabilities. I’ve been comparing it to Paintshop Pro XI’s vector capabilites and am impressed with use so far. It is only at version 0.45.1 at this time, but given a little time it will become a very proficient editor.

Give it a try, i think you’ll be plesently surprised.
